Receiving and storing your peptide order well

A peptide's quality is also decided at delivery and in the first minutes after opening the parcel. A few simple reflexes preserve its stability from arrival.

When opening the parcel

  1. Check the general condition of the parcel and vials (integrity, seals).
  2. Check batch correspondence: the vials' batch number should match the associated COA.
  3. Store without delay — each product by its state (see below).

The cold chain, in plain terms

A major benefit of freeze-drying: as a dry powder, a peptide tolerates room-temperature transport well over short durations. That is why shipping a lyophilizate doesn't always require active cooling.

On arrival, however, storage should return to the good rules — that's where long-term stability is decided.

Orders are shipped via a suitable delivery service (Chronofresh). The packaging care aims to preserve products in transit.

What goes where

  • Lyophilized vials (sealed)freezer for the long term (or refrigerator for a shorter duration), away from light.
  • Bacteriostatic water → room temperature or cool, depending on the packaging.
  • Once reconstitutedrefrigerator (2–8 °C). See Storing peptides: lyophilized vs reconstituted.

First steps

  • Note the date of receipt and, later, the reconstitution date.
  • Keep each batch's COA at hand.
  • Only open a vial when you use it in research.

Well received and well stored, an order starts in the best conditions. The logical next step is reconstitution — and the materials that go with it.
